Komikon Event in Baguio Successfully Concluded

The different artist's works in the recently concluded comics event, the Komikon Baguio.

Just yesterday at the fourth floor of CAP Building in Baguio City, the Komikon Baguio was held. It was fun to see several artists gather in a full house event with book auctions, talks, cosplay items, cosplayers, on hand Photoshop presentation, digital painting, character design contests and book signing. I was very happy when I saw my idol comic artist under his author name “Manix Abrera” who draws and illustrates the wittiest modern way of tickling our minds through his strips. =D

Komikon Baguio to Happen on February 9, 2013

Do you love reading comic books or comics?

If you are going ask to me the same question, I definitely do. I love reading funny comics as much as I love writing travel articles for Travex Travels. Though I am not really as gifted as the others who are talented in such a way they are experts in creating visual icons and drawings, my fond of reading it enabled me to understand how illustrations work. And thus I am going to attend this very special event made for artists who are living in the City of Pines.

Pinoy Travel Bloggers during the Ambuklao trip on October 7, 2012

Our trip to Ambuklao Dam was sponsored by Azalea Residences Baguio, who happens to be our hotel partner during our First Baguio Blog Conference held on May 19, 2012. It was supposed to be Ambuklao trip only, but something happened that I and the rest of the blogger participants have to thrill ourselves walking on a hanging bridge.

First Baguio Blog Conference: The Scenes

Asiong32, Travex Travels, Watwatworld, Lakbay Baguio, together with Ingrid and Ada of Naimbag Nga Morning Kapamilya of ABS-CBN Baguio for the promotion of the First Baguio Blog Conference.

Just last Saturday, May, 19, 2012 at the UB Square Hall inside the University of Baguio, the First Baguio Blog Conference was held. With nothing to brag but with the urge to pursue this dream, the event was a success--at least for a day. The event did impart knowledge (about blogging) to the youth (and middle-aged group) who attended the event.

The people behind the success of the First Baguio Blog Conference. Both the guest speakers and organizers gathered in Kubong Sawali for a very sumptuous dinner.

More than 140 participants, both bloggers and newbies, attended the event. Though we did not meet the expected total number of attendees of 150, at least we are at the average somehow.
