By the time you reach Dagupan, you have to look for a ride to Alaminos City, the home of 123 islands and islets. There are no direct trips from Manaoag to Alaminos so you have to cut trips and stopover in Dagupan City. You can actually ride a bus bound to Sta. Cruz in Zambales since it is passing through Alaminos. There are Victory Liner buses (along Perez Blvd.) bound to Sta. Cruz. You can also ride a van at the Pines Garage. By the way, we hired a tricycle (for P50) to take us to Pines Garage from the Public Market of Dagupan.

There are not much spectacular sights in Manaoag town except for the Church of Manaoag, the Shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag and the park adjacent to it. Though not preferable for a very long stay at the Shrine itself, a short glimpse is already good enough in the place. It is one of the more popular churches visited by Catholic devotees in Northern Luzon.

There are other Pangasinan tourist spots other than the beaches. But if you were only to choose resorts in Pangasinan, more likely you will be ending up enjoying your vacation. And there are a variety of Pangasinan beaches to choose from.
