Travex Travels is a
personal travel blog dedicated to everyone who wants to know more about
traveling places in the Philippines, explore some more adventure in the islands,
and unleash some more fun in exploring the different gems of this country. By
default, www.travextravels.com posts travelogues at the cheapest budget ever,
grabbing more excitement to the last centavo. That is because the blogger myself
wants to enjoy trips without the big bucks. For me “traveling is a man’s reward
to his very own existence, makes a man appreciate of what the world can offer,
does change one’s value to the environment, opens happiness from a man’s core
and brings time into priceless moments”.
Travel. Explore. Fun.
Three simple words that tell the whole story of what travel is all about. When
you travel, you definitely explore the place and admit to one’s own
fulfillment. Fun is a hidden derivative of traveling. You travel to have fun,
to fulfill something that is empty on a part, and to discover fruitful blessing
God has given to us. Just remember these three words and you will absolutely
enjoy your trip. Travel. Explore. Fun.
When I first used the
word “Travex”, it was a coined word derived from two words, “traveller
Exteronex”. Exteronex is my netizen name since 2009, particularly on eBay.ph
when I sell my stuffs there. I started my blog as “travexteronex”. Bu then I
realized, “What on earth does travexteronex do?” Travexteronex travels! But I
don’t want to have a domain which sounds like a tongue twister, do I? So I
shortened it to just “travex” and since I “travel”, I included it on my website
name. It became “travex travels”. The two verbs “travel” and “explore” can also
be rooted from the word “travex” that’s why it was first used as my slogan in
my banner and photo mark. Sooner, I included the word “fun” since traveling is
fun and “It’s more fun in the Philippines”.
It’s just Joven. Not
“Joveno”. The fruit beside it is my surname. Joven is a proud Pinoy and the
proud owner of this website. Since childhood, I have already traveled so many
times, not missing a trip every year, from up north to Laoag and down south to
Tagaytay. And I admit that I enjoyed all of my trips. And for the win, I
started my blog to help others who also want to enjoy trips by simply sharing
my experiences. Besides, I also want to explore more of the different islands
in the Philippines (and hopefully outside it soon). I want to learn what other
travelers do and what they can do. I want to learn the basics. I want to enjoy
life…traveling. Life is a journey indeed.
When I started this
blog (website), it’s a total crap! I don’t know the basics of CSS, HTML or
whatever. I just relied on what Google can offer. I realized by then, who on
earth will enjoy reading my post when in the first place my blog isn’t
organized?!? So I committed myself to present a better blog, with the logo,
banner, theme and the like. I spent nights on my first designs of the banner,
logo and photo mark. It was okay, my first roll out was on orange theme. This
was my base logo for the banner:
But I happened to change it after sometime.
Minor revisions were made and the official logo now looks like this:
It’s now green-orange
theme.
From “Wow
Philippines” to “Pilipinas Kay Ganda” to “It’s more fun in the Philippines”. A
slogan that depicts a fun travel to the Philippines.Boracay is the #1 choice of
travelers for “best beach in Asia 2012” category. Are you looking for more?
Find it here in the Philippines! You don’t want to be the last to know, do you?
